On Friday, May 31, 2024, the first day of the traditional Cherry Festival in Celleno, the artistic craftworkwork “La Ciliegia delle Ciliegie”, of approximately 230 cm in diameter, will be inaugurated.
The giant installation is the largest representation of a cherry in Italy and is made up of over 300 metal silhouettes in three different sizes, the three varieties of cherry cultivated in Celleno: Maggiolina, Ravenna, and a new one recently introduced.
The artwork “La Ciliegia delle Ciliegie” is located in the “Parco dell’Ecomuseo di Celleno”, as a symbol of the Town of Cherries and the cultural heritage of its community.
