“Tevere Day”, a week of festivals along the river

From October 7 to 13, 2024, the sixth edition of Tevere Day will be held in Rome. The event aims at the enhancement of the River Tiber, precious heritage of the City of Rome and its region.

The festival will last one week and will include more than one hundred events taking place on the Tiber along approximately eighty kilometres. In addition to the crucial areas along the Lungotevere in Rome, the event is also celebrated at the Parco Nazzano Tevere Farfa, in Ostia Antica and Fiumicino, with exhibitions, bike tours, aperitifs on boats under the bridges, guided tours, music and outdoor sports. Furthermore, several meetings with writers and experts of the Tiber will be held in cultural venues, bookshops, libraries and museums.
