World Press Photo Exhibition 2025

From May 6 to June 8, 2025, the “World Press Photo Exhibition 2025 will be back at the “Palazzo delle Esposizioni” in Rome. The competition has been awarding prestigious artists for seventy years, displaying reportage and documentary images from all over the world.

The photos, selected by a jury, concern significant aspects, such as the war or the climate crisis, each one powerfully portraying human suffering, courage and warmth, an invitation to discover the truths that lie behind the news.

The Photo of the Year 2025, selected among 59,320 works by 3,778 photographers from 141 countries, was shot by the Palestinian photographer Samar Abu Elouf and published on the New York Times. Also on display, all the awarded photographs from the other participant categories.

The Roman Edition of “World Press Photo Exhibition 2025”, organized by the “Azienda Speciale Palaexpo”, was conceived by the “World Press Photo Foundation” in collaboration with “10b Photography”.
