For the third consecutive year, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, the twenty-first stage of the “Giro d’Italia” will arrive in Rome, after three weeks and over 3,400 kilometres.
The 143.9 km Roman stage will be inaugurated with a symbolic race in honour of Pope Francis, which will cross the Vatican Gardens, to exit from Porta del Perugino, in front of Santa Marta, and then reach the starting point at the Baths of Caracalla.
The cyclists will reach the litoral in Ostia, and then come back to the City at the Circus Maximus, after a final circuit including eight laps of 9.5 each. At the end of the competition, the winner will be awarded.
As usual, the pink village Giroland will be set up in Piazza del Popolo, where visitors will be able to enjoy games, shows, and musical events.
