The prize “Spighe Verdi 2025” was awarded to ninety Italian rural municipalities, including five in Lazio: Canale Monterano, Gaeta, Rivodutri, Sabaudia, and San Felice Circeo.
The recognition, promoted by the Foundation for Environment Education in collaboration with Confagricoltura, will be assigned on the basis of environmental sustainability, landscape protection, and quality of life, just like the “Blue Flags” rewarded to seaside towns.
