Velletri and the Colle degli Dei sport complex will host one of the most important events of the year on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11, 2026, the Italy-Japan women tennis match, for the qualification for the 2026 Billie Jean King Cup Finals. This is a truly prestigious event for the regional tennis and for Velletri, which is preparing to welcome the athletes and the crowds of spectators.
The Billie Jean King Cup, the most important international women team tennis tournament, seeing the world’s strongest national teams, is the equivalent of the men Davis Cup. It takes place annually in the largest and most well-equipped sport complexes.
This year, the chosen venue has been Velletri, which will be honoured to host the Italian team, winners of the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup.
