A new tourism promotion website of the ghost town of Celleno, in the province of Viterbo, is now available online. The village was ranked among the top twenty-five most beautiful ghost towns in Italy by the prestigious UK newspaper “The Telegraph”.
The portal, created by the digital marketing expert Giulio Gargiullo, with the patronage and collaboration of the Municipality of Celleno, will increase the visibility of the village and its surrounding areas and will invite visitors to discover the history, culture, nature, and authentic traditions of this corner of the Tuscia Viterbese.
The website contains information about the ghost town and Celleno, on how to book guided tours, and tourist office contacts. In addition, it is constantly updated with upcoming unmissable events, such as the historic Cherry Festival in June. The portal, soon available in English, will also attract an international audience of tourists, willing to experience a unique opportunity away from mass tourism.
