A statue of Alberto Sordi, seated on a bench with his hand raised in greeting and his unmistakable smile, was inaugurated in the Parco Villa De Sanctis in Rome on the 106th anniversary of the great actor’s birth, an important tribute to one of the most beloved protagonists in the history of Italian cinema.
The statue was created by the Domus Dei Foundry 1963 in collaboration with the Fondazione Museo Alberto Sordi.
