From September 4 to October 4, 2026, the Palazzo Ducale Rocca Colonna in Castelnuovo di Porto will host the collective exhibition “Pratiche di Memoria – La luce che viaggia ancora”. The initiative brings together works by the artists Ado Brandimarte (Ascoli Piceno, 1995), Lou Duca (Milazzo, 1983), Annalinda Maso (Rome, 1998), and Marco Mezzacappa (Rome, 1967), under the artistic direction and curation of Giulia Marcellini, with a critical text by Laura Catini. The project focuses on the theme of depopulation in Italian villages through n evocative scientific metaphor: the light of the stars that continues to travel through space even after its source has been extinguished. The exhibition is an attempt to keep that light illuminating the present before it dissipates forever into the darkness. The event is held under the patronage of Regione Lazio, the Municipality of Castelnuovo di Porto, the Park of Veio, the ADSI – Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane, and the Associazione I Borghi più Belli d’Italia Opening times: from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM. Free admission.
