The Palazzo Museo Camuccini, the former medieval Savelli Castle, was turned by Giovanni Domenico Bianchi into a palace in the style of Vignola, with a façade featuring a portico surmounted by a large loggia. The Palace, which also houses the room where Giuseppe Garibaldi spent the night before the Battle of Aspromonte,
has been owned since 1862 by the Camuccini barons, descendants of the neoclassical painter Vincenzo Camuccini. Some of his works are preserved inside the museum which remained open to the public until 1943. Today, the fortress can only be visited from the outside.

On the square in front of Palazzo Camuccini stands the Cathedral of Maria Santissima Assunta in Cielo, built by the architects Carlo Fontana and Francesco Rosa. The church features a single nave and hosts a statue of the Virgin Mary and several paintings from the 17th-century.

The Camuccini Park extends over four hectares on the edge of the historic centre of the village. It preserves centuries-old trees from all around the world, such as the Gingko Biloba and the American oak. In the Park, several events are celebrated, such as “Terra Folk in Sabina”, an early August weekend of folk and experimental music and dances.

The Church of Sant’Adamo is a place pf cult in the countryside, built on the tomb of the hermit of the same name, who miraculously healed a mule’s leg. The church preserves rare late Gothic paintings and, in early May, an ancient fair of goods and livestock in honour of the is held there.

Cantalupo in Sabina is deeply connected to the Roman actor-director Carlo Verdone, who, as a boy, used to spend his summer holidays in his family home, drawing inspiration for some of his characters. A film festival, “Parliamo di Donne”, curated by Carlo’s brother Luca, is organized at the end of July.
On the second Sundays of March, June, September, and December, it is possible to visit the Mostra Mercato delle Stagioni and discover traditional food and wine products, such as Sabina DOP olive oil, honey, sheep-milk cheese, and spelt pasta.
