Until April 28, 2024, at the Museum of Rome in Trastevere, you can visit the first exhibition dedicated to Rino Gaetano, the artist who tragically passed away at the age of thirty, while he was at the height of success.
Documents, photos, artistic relics, records, videos, musical instruments and stage costumes, the exhibition displays the whole world of this musical genius.
Every single object, kindly donated by the singer-songwriter’s sister Anna Gaetano, represents the most outstanding moments of the life and career of the young musician, from his first steps in Rome to the great success achieved in the 80s. The collection about his career and everyday life allows visitors to understand the creativity of Rino’s music and to recognise, behind the apparent lightness of his lyrics, the great critical power of his message.
