The Mario Praz House Museum reopens in Rome

The Mario Praz House Museum, where the well-known critic and essayist lived from 1969 to 1982, has reopened in Rome.

Mario Praz was one of the most authoritative anglicists of the 20th century, an expert on the English history and literature between the seventeenth century and the Victorian era. In the House Museum we can also admire English furniture, French bronze sculptures, Russian malachite, Bohemian crystal and German porcelain, as well as several portraits of the ruling families, such as the Bourbon and the Bonaparte.

The Mario Praz House Museum, in Rome can be visited free of charge at Palazzo Primoli in via Giuseppe Zanardelli 1, Rome every day, except Tuesdays, from 9 am to 7 pm, reservations required.
