The Grotta dell’Arco is accessible to the public until October 26, 2024, an amazing underground tunnel preserving a succession of stalactites, natural sculptures, cavities and rock paintings, at the foot of Bellegra, in the Aniene Valley in the province of Rome.
The cave stretches along a surface of one kilometre and has a vertical drop of 14 metres. The Grotta dell’Arco offers a very interesting route along underground caves with sculptures made by nature and cave art, testifying its multi-millennial history.
The cave can be visited through a touristic and a speleo-trail; a third advanced route is exceptionally reserved for the most expert speleologists.
