Roma Appia Run, running along the Regina Viarum

The Roma Appia Run takes place on Sunday, April 21, 2024, starting from the Baths of Caracalla. This year, the competition celebrates its 25th edition on the occasion of the Birth of the Eternal City. The 13 km race along one of the most beautiful routes in the world is run on five different pavements: asphalt, sampietrino, paving lava, the dirt road of the Caffarella Park and, finally, the track of the Stadium “Nando Martellini” at the Baths of Caracalla. The race passes through some of the most impressive views of Rome and offers all participants the unmissable opportunity to run along the most fascinating routes of the ancient City. They can choose from four kinds of races: thirteen km competitive, thirteen km non-competitive, five km non-competitive and “Fulmine dell’Appia”, scheduled for Saturday, April 20, for children and teenagers aged from two to seventeen.

The event is sponsored by Regione Lazio, Ministero dello Sport, Roma Capitale, Coni, Sport e Salute, the Appia Antica Regional Park and the Appia Antica Archaeological Park.
