On November 15, 2025, the project “Cammini DiVini”, promoted by the Assessorato al Turismo della Regione Lazio, will be started. It will be dedicated to families, pilgrims, and gourmet travellers, in search of an experience combining faith, nature, and food and wine traditions.
“Cammini DiVini” will include three special events, which will take place, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, in the three Monasteries of Montecassino (on November 15), Valvisciolo (on November 22), and Subiaco (on December 6). The initiative will be a perfect opportunity to enjoy a slow kind of tourism and to discover three destinations, rich in art, history, and spirituality, through guided tours, tastings, workshops, and hiking experiences.

The Abbey of Montecassino
The event will start on November 15 at the Abbey of Montecassino, in the province of Frosinone, the oldest Italian monastery and an international pilgrimage destination. On November 22, it will be hosted by the Valvisciolo Abbey in Sermoneta in the province of Latina, renowned for its Cistercian architecture and sacred symbols engraved in stone, and, on December 6, by the Subiaco Abbey in the province of Rome, one of the most important Benedictine complexes in Europe.

The Abbey of Valvisciolo
“Cammini DiVini” will be focused on tastings of typical products and a selection of wines from Italian abbeys and secular producers associated with monastic sites.

The Monastery of Subiaco
In addition, several cooking and craft workshops will be organized, as well as hiking experiences in the surrounding areas, in particular along the stretch of the St. Benedict’s Way, which leads from Villa Santa Lucia to the Abbey of Montecassino, crossing the sites of the Second World War: Quota 593, Masseria Albaneta, and Casa del Dottore.
The participation is free, but recommended by emailing: segreteria@camminidivini.com
