The well-known American television network CNN, in a recent article dedicated to the subject of travel, has identified eight little-known Italian destinations far from mass tourism.

Among them, three are in Lazio, true authentic gems immersed in an uncontaminated nature, boasting excellent gastronomy and ancient traditions. The chosen places are the clear blue Springs of Lake Posta Fibreno in the province of Frosinone, the pretty village of Calcata, perched on a tuff spur in the province of Viterbo, and the Mount Circeo in the extraordinary nature reserve overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, in the province of Latina.

Three unmissable destinations in Lazio, a region of art, history and beauty, where every corner, even the most hidden, has so much to tell.
