The first game will be at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, which hosts the Ryder Cup 2023, the top world competition that has seen Europe vs the United States face off since 1927. The beautiful course is considered a national monument and covers an area of 110 hectares, dominated by the castle of the Duke Francesco Cesi, whose works began in the 1980s.
The two courses, a championship with 18 holes of high technical difficulty and a resort with nine holes, will let you experience unique emotions.
At a short distance from the course, you can admire the enchanting Villae di Tivoli, UNESCO heritage sites since 2001, where you can enjoy a moment of relax.
A course with very ancient origins, one of the richest in charm and tradition, is certainly the Roma Acquasanta Golf Club, with its 5831 meters length. The first document about the foundation of the course dates back to 1903, when Arthur Flach was given the task of choosing the land where to build it. Initially consisting of nine holes, it was enriched with 18 in 1913. The course now is very similar to the ancient one except for its inversion. From the Club you can easily reach the heart of Rome, its historic centre, and walk among the wonders that only the Eternal City can offer, visiting the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums up to Piazza Venezia. These three attractions will inspire you to discover other ones, it is guaranteed!

At a short distance from Rome, we reach the Castel Gandolfo Country Club, with its 18 holes and 5871 metres of length, located in a volcanic crater transformed into a splendid course with three lakes and 93 bunkers.
After a satisfactory match, you can visit Albano Lake and the villages reflected in its waters. Among them, we recommend Nemi, known for its delicious strawberries, and Castel Gandolfo, where the Pope spends the summer.
In the Roman countryside, we can also find the Fioranello Golf Club, with a suggestive 18-hole course overlooking the archaeological remains of an ancient Roman aqueduct. The course was opened in the early 1980s at a short distance from the Sanctuary of Divino Amore, a pilgrimage destination for many faithful ones. Devotion to this place was born in the 1700s, when a traveller, headed for St. Peter’s Basilica, got lost in the countryside and was attacked by a pack of dogs that the Virgin made flee, invoked by the exclamation “My Lady, Grace”
Also noteworthy is the Archi di Claudio Golf Club, born in the early 90s, which, with its nine holes, is included in the Appia Antica Regional Park and located under the ancient walls of the Roman Aqueduct, a landscape that will fascinate you.
In the the Magliana Vecchia area in Rome, we can find the Parco de Medici Golf Club, built in the 1990s, with its over 4000 plants and six small artificial lakes that enrich the course. The latter is divided into two types, one with nine holes and one with 18.
From the golf course to Ostia Antica the distance is short, and we will enjoy the opportunity of visiting one of the most extraordinary archaeological areas in the world, with its remains of the wonderful theatre that could accommodate up to 4000 people.

We are not far from the Franciscan convent of Santa Maria La Foresta, where, according to some scholars, San Francesco wrote the Canticle of the Creatures.
At this point, we will take a break in Castel di Tora. Known as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, it overlooks the waters of Lake Turano and is nestled between the Cervia and Navegna Mountains.
Moving to Fiuggi, in Ciociaria, we reach one of the oldest clubs in Italy, the Fiuggi 1928 Golf Club, located in the area of the famous springs and a beautiful 18-hole course 5,864 metres long, perfectly included in the Natural Reserve of Lake Canterno.
We cannot miss visiting Fumone, one of the most evocative villages in the province of Frosinone.
The National Golf Club is located in the Tuscia area in Viterbo. A course that
perfectly fits into the surrounding undulating landscape, in the shade of centuries-old oaks along its almost 6500 metres.
If you want to admire an enchanting sunset on the shores of Lake Bracciano, we recommend Trevignano Romano, a delightful medieval village to be discovered.
Still in the Viterbo Tuscia area, not far from the sea, we reach the Marina Velka Golf Club, with its nine holes along a course that winds mainly through the hills in a truly impressive landscape, among medieval towers and the ancient walls of Tarquinia, the sea, the Cimini Mountains and the valley of the River Marta. You will spend an unforgettable day here.
In Monterosi we reach the Terre dei Consoli Golf Club, with its two courses: “Championship” and “Family Course”. The first included 18 holes, the second nine. Particularly interesting is hole nine, “The Island”, where the green seems to emerge from a stretch of water.
