The Italian Gold Medal Champion at the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games Marcell Jacobs has chosen the Stadio Guidobaldi in Rieti for his training, in view of the Rome 2024 European Athletics Championships from June 7 to 12 and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games from July 26 to August 11.
Starting from next May 15, thanks to the Association “Sport in Rieti”, the Stadio Raul Guidobaldi, recently renovated, and the Centro d’Altura Terminillo “Enrico Leoncini”, will be transformed into equipped Olympic Training Camps, ready for Italian athletes.
Marcell Jacobs, Andre De Grasse, and the team of Italian sprinters, will run on the new tracks of the Stadium, warmly welcomed by the town of Rieti, which is increasingly confirming itself as the Capital of Athletics and Sport.
