The Regione Lazio is going to join the fifty-seventh edition of Vinitaly, one of the most important events dedicated to the world of wine, scheduled in Verona from April 6 to 9, 2025. The over 2,450 square metres Lazio Pavilion on two levels will host fifty-nine wine companies and three protection consortia (Roma DOC, Cesanese del Piglio DOCG and Frascati).
With its slogan “Lazio Monumental Taste”, Lazio will offer visitors a journey through a territory capable of preserving the past and interpreting the future.
Here are the events directed to experts, lovers and operators in the wine sector:
- An exclusive wine route, curated by the Fondazione Italiana Sommelier (FIS), consisting of eight blind tasting masterclasses, where all the companies will be represented.
- Three masterclasses will be dedicated to each participating Consortium.
- One masterclass curated by the “Gambero Rosso” will focus on the participating wine company “Tre Bicchieri”.
- A starred restaurant curated by Chef Marco Bottega will be set up.
The programme will continue with B2B technical meetings of producers and buyers, aimed at establishing commercial relationships and sharing know-hows.
In addition, a Pinsa Party will be organized, a pleasant event which will liven up the Pavilion on the evening of April 6, with open stands of Lazio wines and authentic Roman Pinsa, a speciality like pizza but prepared differently in technique since the Roman Era.
