Atina, Castro de Volsci and Trevi nel Lazio in the province of Frosinone and Prossedi in the province of Latina have been awarded the Orange Flag recognition by the Touring Club Italia, thus increasing the number of certified villages to 25.
This prestigious certification is issued to villages of great excellence, which seized a concrete opportunity for tourist requalification in terms of environment, culture, food and wine and hospitality.
The four beautiful villages, carefully evaluated by the TCI, have earned the Orange Flag recognition thanks to their compact, well-preserved, and peculiar historic centres, the surrounding landscape, and the variety of valuable historical, cultural, and naturalistic attractions.
The certification offers a great opportunity to enhance the life quality of the inhabitants, to deeply explore their roots, and to guarantee visitors and future generations the possibility to admire the pride of Lazio.
