From November 1 to 3, 2024, Lazio will participate for the second consecutive time to the “Swiss International Holiday Exhibition” in Lugano and is about to receive the prestigious “Swiss Tourism Award 2024”.
The 21st Edition of the Fair will involve the best tourist destinations from around the world, over 400 exhibitors, operators and professional buyers, and 60 represented countries. A special opportunity for the Region Lazio which, this year, has been selected by the “Exhibition Scientific Committee” for the appointed of the “Swiss Tourism Award – Destination of Excellence category”.
The prize aims to highlight the tourism potential of quality destinations, and Lazio will receive wide exposure, being promoted throughout the year, by the main official Swiss and international media. The promotion will not only be focused on the naturalistic heritage of the region, namely mountains, beaches, pristine lakes and centuries-old forests, but also on the typical villages, folklore, traditions and gastronomy, a perfect offer to be discovered and experienced in Lazio.
