America pays homage to the Italian Diva Gina Lollobrigida and displays one of her dresses at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
The black sheath dress with off white lace designed by the Sartoria Peruzzi and worn by the actress in “The Most Beautiful Woman in the World” will be on display until January 5, 2025, together with the costumes of movie stars such as James Dean and Marlene Dietrich.

It is the first time that an Italian star stage dress is exhibited at the Academy Museum, the first huge museum complex in the world, created by the Italian architect Renzo Piano. This recognition follows the great exhibition “I Mondi di Gina”, held in Rome in 2023, a few months after her death.
