In 2024, the Port of Civitavecchia has reached a new record in the number of tourists, thus consolidating its position as the gateway to the Mediterranean and a reference point for the main cruise companies.
Around 3.5 million passengers passed through the Port in the past year, with an increase of 4.3% compared to 2023. The growth, mainly due to the turnaround cruise passengers, is a very important step for Civitavecchia and the entire Lazio tourism sector.
