From July 31, 2025, we will be able to enjoy an unforgettable experience on the Turano Lake, on board of the electric boat THIORA, an unmissable excursion dedicated to the sustainable tourism and the respect for the environment. The boat, powered by electric motors recharged with photovoltaic panels, allows a pollution-free and nature-friendly navigation, as well as the possibility for the passengers contemplate the landscape in complete relaxation. On board, audio guides in Italian and English will be available, narrating stories, legends, and curiosities related to the area.
In addition to the classic itinerary, sunset aperitifs, live music, and tastings in collaboration with local operators will be organized. THIORA will also host private events, school trips, educational projects, and outdoor activities, such as kayaking, dragon boating, and sailing.
The THIORA boat is part of the project “Borghi uniti per la rigenerazione culturale e sociale della Valle del Turano”, funded by the PNRR – Next Generation EU.
