From Saturday, March 29 to Sunday, June 1, 2025, not far from the village of Vitorchiano, you can visit the “Centro Botanico Moutan” and admire the colourful blooming of peonies, wonderful messengers of happiness and beauty.
Over an area of fifteen hectares, among holm, oak, and olive trees, a rare collection of 250,000 peonies, including around 600 different varieties and natural hybrids, is to be found. In April, we can admire the blossoming of the suffruticose, then the prized Rocki and, in May, the countless herbaceous peonies, whose charming colours and fragrances offer a unique, inebriating spectacle.
The “Centro Botanico Moutan” , listed in the Network of the “Grandi Giardini Italiani”, can be visited from 9:30 – to 18.30, every day including holidays, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
