The Municipal Rose Garden reopens to the public with free admission on April 21, 2025, on the occasion of Rome’s Birthday.
Nestled on the slopes of the Aventine Hill, in front of the Palatine remains and overlooking the Circus Maximus, it will offer us the opportunity to admire the blossoming Spring in one of the most beautiful gardens of Rome and Lazio. Here, we will discover an extraordinary botanical collection of over one thousand one hundred varieties of roses from all over the world: South Africa, Old Europe, New Zealand, the two Americas, and the Far East.
The Rose Garden will be accessible from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., every day including holidays, until Sunday, June 15, 2025. Due to road resurfacing works, the main entrance is temporarily closed. Access will only be possible on from Clivo dei Publicii 3.
