From July to October 2024, Viterbo will host the eighth edition of the Biennial Exhibition of Contemporary Art, which will involve artists from all over the world.
The event will focus on the main themes of art, beauty, inclusion, equal opportunities, youth policies, sustainability, environment, and many more. The first International Meeting between Italy and Brazil, concerning the objectives of the New European Bauhaus, will also take place. Official partners of this project, since February 2024, are the A.P.A.I. (Associazione per la Promozione delle Arti in Italia) and the Biennial Exhibition of Viterbo, founded and curated by Laura Lucibello.
The event aims to increase the sensibility towards social and cultural languages through creativity and interculturality, and to create a new, strategic international system, based on equality and sustainability, in terms of human resources. The promotion and internationalization of Tuscia will also be enhanced.
The Biennial will represent a hybrid ecosystem, where various local and international artists will display their works and present their shows, including theatrical plays and many other performances. Visits to artist residencies, studios, and ateliers, as well as galleries, parks and artistic gardens, will also be organized.
