The “Carovana back home” on the Via Francigena is ready to start on June 11, 2025, on the occasion of the Jubilee Year of Hope. A group of vulnerable young people from the “Associazione Juppiter” will take a symbolic journey from London to Rome along the ancient Via Francigena, covering approximately 3,000 km through different cultures and histories.

The departure of the “Carovana back home”
The Caravan consists of thirty-seven disabled young participants, adolescents and young youtubers, accompanied by educators, ANAI military drivers, and members of the “Associazione Sport e Comunità e Polizia di Stato”. The itinerary will cross Europe from north to south, through England, France, Switzerland and Italy, with significant stops in eighteen towns and three European capitals.
The initiative, organized under the high patronage of the European Parliament, will arrive in Rome on June 23, 2025, and will be welcomed by numerous public and private institutions. An invitation to rediscover a European feeling of solidarity and hope.
