The exhibition “Da Picasso a Warhol – Le vinyl cover dei Grandi Maestri”, dedicated to the most famous vinyl covers designed by great international artists, will be visitable for free at Rocca Colonna in Castelnuovo di Porto until June, 2, 2025.
The original exhibit, curated by Vincenzo and Giorgia Sanfo, with the collaboration of Alessandra Mammì, Red Ronnie and Sergio Secondiano Sacchi, is organized by “BLU&BLU NETWORK” and “ART BOOK WEB”, and promoted by the business network “Associazione CastelRete”.
Over 150 whole world famous artistic covers from the ‘40s until today will be on display, testimonies of the contemporary graphic revolution in music. The exhibition will include works by Pablo Picasso, Joan Mirò, Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Miquel Barcelò, Keith Haring, and, among the Italians, Mimmo Paladino, Marco Lodola, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Francesco Clemente, Marco Nereo Rotelli, Ferruccio D’Angelo and Gilberto Zorio. We will also be able to admire covers by famous photographers, such as Nobuyoshi Araki, Robert Mapplethorpe, Luigi Ghirri, and important illustrators included Guido Crepax and Milo Manara.
This extraordinary event will be an opportunity to visit the town of Castelnuovo di Porto, recognized among the most beautiful villages in Italy.
