The Civic Archaeological Museum of Fara in Sabina inaugurates on Saturday March 16, 2024 the Hall of the funerary equipment found in the Tomb XI in the Necropolis of Colle del Forno, with its most famous find, the Chariot of the Prince of Eretum.
The artefact, identified with others in the Montelibretti area, after its display at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen, was recovered by the Italian authorities and brought back to its land of origin, Sabina.
After one year of renovation and set-up works in the museum hosted by Palazzo Brancaleoni, the precious discovery from the 7th century BC. has finally found a permanent location accessible to the public.
The Museum can be visited from Thursday to Sunday and, on other days, by reservation.
