The nineteenth edition of the “Rome Film Fest” will take place from October 16 to 27, 2024, in the “Auditorium Parco della Musica”. The event will be dedicated to Marcello Mastroianni, who, this year, would have been 100.
During the Fest, the most recent cinematographic works by great international authors will be projected, and the extraordinary red carpet, the longest in the world, will attract the enthusiast public. The programme will also embrace other Roman venues and cultural realities.
This year too, the area “Lazio, Terra di Cinema”, curated by the “Struttura Cinema e Audiovisivo Regione Lazio” and “Roma Lazio Film Commission”, will be present. In addition, several cinema and audiovisual associations and institutions will participate with initiatives aimed to promote the territory and the excellences of Lazio, with a focus on social, environmental, and contemporary issues. Furthermore, a special opportunity will be offered to the “Scuola d’Arte Cinematografica Gian Maria Volonté” by the initiative “Daily Young”, which will involve girls and boys under 25 in a reportage on the “Rome Film Fest” and its protagonists.
