From May 30 to July 12, 2024, the cultural festival Attraversamenti will take place, an itinerary of art, shows and live performances along the Regina Viarum, in the heart of the Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica.
A rich programme will connect landscape, art, archaeology, and nature. Ten events, embracing theatre, music, dance, botany, medical sciences, and healing art, are scheduled in two extraordinary sites inside the “Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica”: the Church of San Nicola (near the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella) and the Nymphaeum of the Villa dei Quintili.
The initiative, promoted by the Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica” with the support of the “Ministero della Cultura – Direzione Generale Spettacolo “ and conceived in collaboration with the network Teatri di Pietra, includes three meetings, followed by performances at 6.30 pm and six shows at 9.00 pm.
