Pozzaglia is a village within a magnificent pine forest, which offers a pleasant stay in nature and excursions to Lake Turano, nestled in the mountains.
Particularly interesting from a naturalistic point of view is the Pila Cave, a natural cavity approximately 40m long, characterized by the presence of stalactites, stalagmites and karst columns. The cave is very important especially for the study of the bat fauna.
Interesting archaeological finds have been found in the cave, including tombs and vases dating back to the Neolithic and Copper Ages.
Every year, on the second Sunday of November, a commemorative festival is celebrated in Pozzaglia Sabina in honour of Santa Agostina Pietrantoni, Patron Saint of nurses.
