The Palazzo della Cultura in Sora will host, until May 20,2025, an extraordinary display of twenty-four lithographs by Maestro Renato Guttuso, promoted by the Municipal Administration of Sora on the eightieth anniversary of the Liberation Day. The artist’s iconographic cycle, conceived during the Nazi’s occupation of Rome, evokes an atmosphere of ferocious oppression, by portraying the most tragic pages of our history.
Guttuso, together with other internationally renowned artists such as Picasso, Cagli and Vedova, expressed in their works the anti-fascist and nazi struggle in Europe. The town of Sora will acquire further prestige from this initiative, curated by Anna Cautilli, the Arci Sora APS” and the “Sinopia” Associations.
