The “Cicerone e la Via dell’Acqua” project aims at enhancing and promoting the historical and cultural heritage of the Liri Valley, with particular attention to the municipalities of Arpino, Sora, Isola del Liri and Posta Fibreno.
Through digital and multimedia technologies, the project offers visitors an immersive experience, allowing them to discover the most interesting archaeological sites, and to experience natural and cultural contexts. The tour is available in various options, such as free navigation, interactive maps, and thematic routes connecting the points of interest.
In addition to multimedia corners at the Museo della Media Valle del Liri (Sora), the Umberto Mastroianni Foundation (Arpino), and the Teatro Stabile Costantini (Isola del Liri), the project also includes a dedicated mobile app, available for iOS and Android, with augmented reality contents, audio guides, thematic tours, a map of the fountains, and a reporting system for the waste geolocation.
The initiative was funded by the Ministry of Culture under the PNRR.
