Sutri will represent Lazio in the 14th edition of Il Borgo dei Borghi, the popular Italian television contest broadcast on Rai 3 during the programme “Kilimangiaro”, which awards an Italian village each year.
This nomination is an extraordinary opportunity for this fascinating village in Tuscia to promote its cultural, historical and archaeological heritage. Sutri boasts unique treasures, such as its evocative medieval historic centre and an archaeological park carved into tuff rock.
“Il Borgo dei Borghi” will be broadcast from October 18, 2026 on Rai 3 and, each Sunday afternoon, a different beautiful village, with its local culture, art, and traditions will be highlighted. The winner will be announced on Easter evening, Sunday, March 28, 2027.
