From September 6 to 13, 2024, Tarquinia is going to host the “Catamaran World Championship, Class Dart18”. The “Assonautica “Giuseppe Maffei”, in collaboration with the Associazione Dart18 Italia, and the “Federazione Italiana Vela (FIV)”, are ready to welcome this prestigious international event, with the participation of over eighty crews from all over the world.
Registrations are scheduled for September 6, and, on September 7, the opening ceremony and parade of all the crews with their national flags will start in Piazza Matteotti, under the Town Hall. The competition will begin on Sunday, September 8 in the afternoon, with regattas on the water.
All spectators and sailing lovers will be able to enjoy this fascinating show from the beach. The Championship regattas will be held every afternoon from September 8 to 13, except Wednesday 11.
