The Azzurri promote the beauties of Lazio

Lazio is betting on the “Azzurri” to promote its excellences. Thanks to an agreement between the Regione Lazio and the Federazione Italia Giuoco Calcio, local attractions will be highlighted  and the tourism flow increased, in view of the soccer competitions.

With the slogan “Lazio: allenati alla Bellezza” some of the most beloved champions from the Italian National Team will be the faces of an extraordinary promotional campaign, inviting everybody, especially young generations, to appreciate the sceneries, and experience the historical and cultural richness of the territory.

The main sport events will be a showcase for the region, which, according to the agreement with the FIGC, will welcome the spectators attending important international matches.

The great event will start with the Under-21 team, who will go in a retreat in Latina from September 1, before challenging the San Marino team of the same age, on September 5, at the “Francioni” Stadium, in a qualifying match for the European Under-21 Championship 2025, which will be broadcasted live on RAI 2 at 6.00 p.m.

On October 10, the Under-20 Italian team will compete in a match against England in Rieti, at the “Centro d’Italia” Stadium, for the qualification at the “Torneo 8 Nazioni 2024-25”.

On the same day, the Azzurri Senior National Team, temporarily involved in the 2024 European Championships in Germany, will return to play against Belgium, at the Olympic Stadium in Rome.

In 2025, in the many fields throughout Lazio, the finals of the championships from the team Under-18, Serie A, to the Under-15 amateurs club and women’s soccer competitions will also be played.
