The Museo Internazionale del Presepe di Greccio has been included in the international “Weird Museum Map”, which includes the 1,500 most distinctive museums from all around the world.
The exhibition, curated by the museum consultant and communicator James Lees houses extraordinary Nativity scenes and works depicting the birth of Jesus, created by national and international artists in unusual styles and materials from across the globe. These masterpieces of art, history, and spirituality, made Greccio, the charming village in the province of Rieti, achieve a remarkable position on the map of the world’s most curious exhibitions.
