Bomarzo, Ninfa and Villa d’Este have been included in the “List of the Twenty-five most Beautiful Gardens in the World” by the New York Times.
Six horticultural experts conducted a survey by asking the interviewed which gardens halfway across the world would be worth a visit. Twenty-five sites in twenty countries have been elected, included five from Italy, three of which in Lazio: the surreal Sacred Wood of Bomarzo, the romantic Gardens of Ninfa, and the water games of Villa d’Este in Tivoli, already a UNESCO heritage site. An extraordinary result confirming Lazio’s centuries-old tradition in nature and landscape art.
