Un’Estate Italiana on TV, a Spotlight on Lazio

The 2026 edition of the TV programme Un’Estate Italiana broadcast on Rai 1 and dedicated to the Italian holiday experiences, will showcase Lazio and its finest excellences, such as landscapes, musical traditions, events, and gourmet cuisine. It will promote an extraordinary journey through Lazio’s most beautiful areas during five Sundays in August at approximately 2:50 PM with four new episodes and a rerun scheduled for Sunday, August 16.

The talk-show segment of this second edition will be filmed in a stunning Roman setting and will host Fabrizio Rocca and Anna Falchi, joined by numerous guests from the worlds of entertainment and culture, who will entertain the audience with stories, in-depth anecdotes and music.

A regional reporting, with Lazio as a protagonist, will play an important role. Four locations will captivate the audience by showcasing the region’s extraordinary landscapes and cultural diversity: the seaside charm of Formia and the Pontine islands, the pristine nature of Mount Terminillo, the spiritual sites along the Way of St. Benedict, and the romantic scenery of Lake Bolsena.

The programme will also focus on the season’s most important social, cultural, and charitable events. A special correspondent will interview several key figures and reveal the most spectacular summer locations.

In addition, significant attention will be paid to the region’s culinary heritage; in each episode, a top chef will reinterpret lesser-known local traditional in a modern and creative way, blending the authentic flavours with the freshness of the summer cuisine.

A dynamic, and emotional journey through the wonders of our region.
