Nemi is the Lazio village designed to participate in the 2026 edition of Il Borgo dei Borghi, the national competition among Italy’s most beautiful and distinctive places. Nemi boasts a characteristic historic center, an extraordinary blue lake, a lush nature, numerous local excellences and centuries-old traditions rich in ancient legends.

The Voting will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, with the presentation of a video about the village during the famous Rai3 broadcast “Il Kilimangiaro,” and will continue until Sunday, March 22, 2026. In order to cast your vote, you must register for free on the RaiPlay platform, while those already registered can log in directly with their credentials. Each participant is allowed to cast one vote per day, up to a maximum of five votes for the same village, for the entire duration of the competition.

The winner will be announced during the finals of Il Borgo dei Borghi, broadcasted on Rai 3 on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026.

In recent years, the villages of Lazio have enjoyed great public favour, occupying the highest positions in the national rankings: Ronciglione 1st place in 2023, Isola del Liri 4th place in 2024, and Vignanello 3rd place in 2025. Now it will be  Nemi’s turn, an extraordinary village overlooking a volcanic lake, to seize the opportunity of showcasing all its beauty and uniqueness. Voting is now open, and Visit Lazio is ready to support you. Come on Nemi, you can do it!
